Ray Chair

2024

Zara Home

The Ray chair started with a very clear brief. Creating a versatile minimal seat that incorporated timeless materials and finishes. The cost constraints proved to be a big challenge, specially since for that particular collection, leather was an important element of the material palette. A big effort was also put in the proportions of the chair. Having very little information and straight sections, all the elements had to work together and remain balanced. The Ray chair was launched in 2024 and continues to be a staple in Zara Home's offering.
